How do I know if a lock needs repair or replacement?

What is the difference between rekeying and changing locks?

Can you copy a key marked 'Do Not Duplicate'?

Will a smart lock fit my existing door?

What makes a lock 'high-security'?

Should I try to pull out a broken key myself?
